Thanksgiving

We had an incredible Thanksgiving at my aunt and uncle's new house in Annapolis, Maryland. We decided they have the perfect house for introverts or extroverts. Lot of common space but also little nooks and crannies all over the house to get away. Liam is getting to be a traveling pro.

Always a good spot to snuggle with Aunt Sach

Rachel, Liam, and my cousins Nolie and Lena

Uncle Chris

Liam was spoiled by Grandpa and everyone there

Jessica and her daughter Madeline and her husband Josh came to Annapolis for the day from DC to spend time with us. It was WONDERFUL to get to hang out and for her to meet Liam. Madeline is a doll. Their family has expanded since this picture to add Caroline! Jess is 7 months pregnant here. Isn't she cute??

We stayed in our pajamas the majority of most of the days...or maybe that was just mom. It was glorious.

I made Liam a little turkey outfit. Have to document that :)

My cousin Annika was so good with Liam. Rachel told her she was a natural and she responded with, "I know...I have 2 American girl dolls. They're twins."

All my cousins in the DC/Annapolis area

I don't want to go home Mom! Me either buddy.

Liam 5 Months

Sweet Liam is getting bigger by the day!

Christmas will get it's own post too but isn't he precious??

We spent a week in Vail the first week of December. Liam was not a big fan of sleeping my himself the whole time we were there, so he was a bit of a handful. But a cute handful. He got spoiled by Grammi and Grandpa. Mom and I took walks and cooked and played cards while Adam and dad went skiing most days.

Liam and Dad getting some work done.

He went on I think his 8th flight in December. To say he's well traveled would be an understatement. He does so well on the plane though. He is yet to cry on any of them. We usually hold him in the moby and he sleeps most of the time. We have been so lucky with flying so far. Of course he makes lots of friends on the plane.

He found his hand this month and loves to hold them together and show them to you while he coos and smiles. He's so proud of himself.

The lady he's been staying with while I work sent me this picture. I thought it was so precious. He's loving his exersaucer this month and learning to press the buttons to make noises.

He's getting better sitting in his bumbo and holding his head up. He lasts about 10 minutes usually.

We love sitting on the front porch with Colby. Liam is petting Colby a little now. It's precious.

His aunt Rachel seriously loves him.

Liam loves his bath time. He has yet to cry in the tub too. He is such a happy baby.

He's wearing 3 month clothes and is starting to fit into some 3-6 months. He eats every 3 hours about 4 ounces and naps for 45 min-1 hour three times a day. I get a little stressed because he doesn't have a schedule by time but I am encouraged that I know when he is hungry and when he's tired. He only cries when he's bored, tired, or hungry. We are blessed with such a happy baby. People tell us all the time how delightful he is. Love this baby so much.

Liam 4 Months

Ok, so I am WAY behind. Unfortunately we got burglarized at the beginning of December and my computer was taken. I lost lots of pictures and it took me a while to get another computer. So, better late than never. And forgive the iPhone photos. It's all I have :(

Liam is a joy. I tell people all the time, at 3 months we turned a corner. He was able to play by himself for longer amounts of time and sleep not being held as much. Don't get me wrong, the baby still loves to be held but I could at least get some things done. He was still sleeping in our room at this point.

Weight: 13.25 lbs (23.88%)
Length: 23.88 in (6.48%)
Head: 16.5 in (60.11%)
Whoa that's a big head. Thanks Adam!

My mom brought this infant seat from when we were little to put Liam in. Apparently my dad did a full cleaning of it to get it ready for him. I played with dolls in it too after Chris was too big for it, so it's surreal to have an actual baby in it! Full circle.

Liam is a big smiler and any tooting noise gets him every time. What can I say, boys must be born that way.

This is a comparison of me and Liam. My parents think we look a lot alike.

"Mom, why did you leave me here?"

His little hands are my favorite part. I just love them. Those little dimpled fingers.

We made our first trip to Auburn to watch the Auburn-Georgia game. It was ugly, but a great first trip. Liam got to meet my BFF Christy and her family too. I love that they finally got to meet! We ended up getting free tickets to the game, so Liam attended his first, hopefully of many Auburn games, in the moby wrap.

Mimi came to visit and take care of Liam while I worked.

Thanksgiving will get a post of it's own but these are my cousins Annika and Lena with Liam.

Liam also got to meet my other BFF Jessica and her family. We were in Annapolis for Thanksgiving, so they drove from DC to enjoy a morning together. So thankful for these friends.

Liam and Colby are starting to get to be more buddies. Here it's more Liam just laying on him. :)

We love our sweet baby so much and are enjoying every stage. The sleeping is still a struggle but I hear that is pretty normal.
